How to Build a Turbo Fan Model and Document Matrix

Use one controlled row per configuration to connect the approved sample, specification, test results, critical components, battery records, certificates, packaging and change status.

Direct answer

A document is useful only when its holder, date, standard, model list and critical configuration match the product being purchased. The matrix makes gaps and mismatches visible before approval.

Recommended matrix columns

Control areaMinimum fields
Model identityCommercial model, internal version, sample ID, firmware and revision date
Critical configurationMotor, impeller, battery, protection board, charger, housing and accessories
PerformanceMethod ID, report ID, sample date, accepted result and limitations
Battery and transportCell or pack identity, applicable reports, summaries and model relationship
Market documentsStandard, report or certificate, holder, issue date, model list and destination
PackagingArtwork version, labels, manual, accessory list and carton approval
StatusAvailable, requested, under review, accepted, expired or not applicable
Change controlChange description, impact assessment, retest decision and approval

How to use the matrix

  1. Create the row when the base model is shortlisted.
  2. Attach every claim and document to that row, not to the family name.
  3. Mark missing evidence explicitly instead of assuming equivalence.
  4. Review critical-component and model-list consistency before sample approval.
  5. Freeze the accepted row with the quotation, specification and golden sample.
  6. Open a change record whenever the configuration changes.
The matrix does not turn an unrelated document into valid evidence. It reveals whether the document actually covers the selected product.
